Solo Works
Here, you will find examples of my original work. I like to create my pieces in the spur of the moment, even if it lasts for days, while the idea within me plays until I feel it's complete. I use Ableton Live for recording, sound processing, sound design and beat-making. The cello is an instrument I have trained to play for decades, but the means to my music also come from toy instruments, bass guitar and my voice, which I process in Ableton. What inspires me most are the sounds that surround us every day, wherever we are. My music is informed by the nostalgia for post-communist Poland in which I grew up and the brutalist architecture that played a big part of my life in Poland.
